Today is the final day of the family’s extended stay in Ventura. I have a tire-pressure problem to address, and a trip to Best Buy to make, but other than that, the exit should not be a hassle.
It’s been good to be in another place, a place that’s not our usual set of restaurants and stops. A place where we can walk outside, even in the day (Phoenix has 100+ degree weather at the moment). But I’m looking forward to getting back to familiar things and routines that make certain things easier.
It’s been a good time with some new experiences: the movie theater on Ventura’s main street; getting a Starlink to address some Internet issues; a visit to the Ventura County Fair; a trivia night at Anna’s Cider.
Thanks, Ventura and Ventura County.
