It’s been a while since I’ve posted. There are various reasons for that, some of which are in fact out of my control (e.g., obligations at work or for my family).
But some of those are within my control. An example: having standards or expectations that are too high. If I have some vague expectation that I need to write something “thought out” or “interesting,” then I don’t write.
Instead, I could decide to simply tell you: I went to a Diamondbacks baseball game last night. They played the Giants. My wife and two of our kids went with me. I have a client who works for the team, and he was kind enough to think of me when he had some tickets to give away.
