Here is the list of podcasts that I have on my phone and that I listen to fairly regularly. I’m sharing the list so you can find something you might not have found otherwise:
- Akimbo – This is the podcast from Seth Godin. I like Seth’s voice. It’s very calming and re-assuring. I like his ideas. He’s one of the few bloggers that I read every single day.
- The Art of Manliness – I’ve found some really great content on here. This podcast about procrastination was a game-changer for me. I skip lots of the episodes.
- The Brian Buffini Show – Buffini cheers me up when I’m down and says things I need to hear. He’s within the tradition that holds Zig Ziglar and Jim Rohn. That’s a good tradition.
- Next Action Associates Podcast – Each episode has at least one insight. If you’re a GTD fan, you should check this out. And it taught me a great trick: set your Outlook application to open to your calendar, rather than your email inbox.
- Getting Things Done – The official podcast from David Allen and GTD. David Allen’s podcast on making change stick was a turning point for me.
- How I Built This – Great stories about how entrepreneurs built their companies. There’s no such thing as an overnight success. An episode I remember well: the guy who brought Power Rangers to the United States.
- The Thomistic Institute – This isn’t for everybody; but it might be just the thing you’re looking for. A collection of talks and lectures on topics in the light of the philosophy of St. Thomas Aquinas (and the Catholic intellectual tradition, more broadly). Here’s a talk about St. Catherine of Siena in times of crisis that my wife and I both enjoyed.
- The Tim Ferriss Show – There’s a lot of good stuff in there. If you don’t know where to start, start with his interview of Jamie Foxx.
